Spirit Group: Death Café in the Gathering Place

Death Café’s are an opportunity to look more closely at issues around death when we are not in the midst of grief. They become a safe place to talk about issues that are often ignored. This “Death Café” will focus on OBITUARIES. Each of us will be involved at some point in writing an obituary – either for ourselves or for a loved one. What are the things you would like to communicate? Participants are each invited to bring an obituary to share – it may be for someone you know, or it maybe someone you have never met, but were drawn in by their Obituary. All are welcome. You may also share the word with those beyond our congregation.
