On Monday, March 17, “No Other Land”, the Oscar winner in the category of BEST DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM, will be showing at the Ancaster Memorial Arts Theatre (7:15 pm). Filmed by a Palestinian and an Israeli, prior to October 11, 2023, No Other Land offers an essential and unflinching look at life under Israeli military occupation. The camera speaks truth to power as the filmmakers document forced removals, bulldozers destroying homes and the inevitable violence that follows. This is an important film to understand some of the roots of unrest in Palestine-Israel.
