“All Saints Sunday”. At the beginning of November, as the growing season comes to a close and death becomes a reality, we are brought in touch with the spirits of our ancestors. Out of this came the origins of Halloween – “all hallows eve”, when the spirits of those who once were alive are reawakened to walk the earth. “All Saints Sunday” is held on the first Sunday in November as a ritual of remembering the energies of those who have gone before us, giving thanks for their lives, and asking for their guidance. You are invited to come and light a candle in memory of someone is no longer living, but whose love touched your life.
